London is one of the world's most exciting cities when it comes to gourmet food. These Michelin starred restaurants are the nicest and most legendary you’ll find in the city!

1. Alain Ducasse

A world class three Michelin starred restaurant situated at the heart of London’s Mayfair on Park Lane that takes dining to a whole new level. Meticulously designed, this restaurant, located in the Dorchester Hotel, will allow you to experience creativity, generosity and impeccable cuisine.

The charm of the restaurant is a private room surrounded by 4,500 shimmering fiber optics that dramatically drop from the ceiling, that is known as the ‘Table Lumière’.

INSIDER TIP: Try Alain Ducasse’s Cookpot! It is a delicious and healthy combination of mainly vegetables and a variety of other ingredients.

2. Waterside Inn

If you’re looking for a French meal, then it doesn’t get better than the Waterside Inn. No other restaurant has ever been able to hold three Michelin stars for so long. Located in an enchanting riverside setting, the restaurant offers a relaxed, unpretentious, yet elegant atmosphere while enjoying the impeccable service and exquisite cuisine.

INSIDER TIP: In order to have a truly wonderful and memorable experience of The Waterside Inn’s food and service, any new customer should try “Le Menu Exceptionnel”. Another two dishes that are Extremely popular and worth trying are the Tronçonnettes de Homard Poêlées Minute au Porto Blanc (seen in the picture) and the Soufflé chaud aux mirabelles.

3. Gordon Ramsay

Named after one of the world’s most famous chefs, this is the first restaurant that Gordon Ramsay founded to establish his influential and successful career. Now a triple starred establishment, Ramsay has nurtured this restaurant to be one of the very finest in London. Serving modern European gourmet cuisine, you are guaranteed to have an exquisite meal.

INSIDER TIP: For an extra special dining experience, we recommend the Inspiration Table. From Monday to Friday, six guests can sit on a private table and learn how dishes of Chef Patron Clare‘s menu are created and prepared by interacting with Gordon Ramsay‘s chefs as they prepare their lunch or dinner right in front of them!

4. Hakkasan Mayfair

This upscale restaurant in Mayfair offers Michelin starred Cantonese recipes that leave your taste buds tingling and asking for more as well as international delicacies such as New Zealand‘s mini lobster or the sought after Black Truffle.

The chic interior is also noteworthy and is divided between two floors. The lower one features traditional Asian elements while the upper floor offers design furniture and a vibrant bar. The atmosphere is very classy throughout and yet very friendly thanks to the use of long tables that call for great nights out with friends or family. Dress code is smart casual

INSIDER TIP: Guests can choose from an À la carte menu, a Signature menu and the Taste of Hakkasan menu but if you truly want to win your partner over on a dine out, ask for the Black Truffle roast duck, one of the dishes only available at Hakkasan Mayfair.

5. L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon

Awarded ‘Chef of the Century’ by the Gault Millau guide, Joel Robuchon’s dozen restaurants around the world have garnered a total of 25 Michelin stars, which is more than any other chef in the world. This restaurant’s fantastic location, right in the center of Covent Garden, places all diners just a stone’s throw away from London’s buzzing culture. Diners can choose between a counter and table setting, or a drink at the Salon Bar and Terrace. The emphasis of the cuisine is placed on uncomplicated French dishes cooked and served to perfection.
