1: WALK THROUGH THE LANGE ALM

The hike along the Lange Alm is one to remember. The beautiful scenery is set between three mountain peaks and is well visited in summer. The area is called the highlight of the Dolomites, and the three peaks reach as high as 2999 meter, 2973 meter, and 2875 meter.

The hike is 2000 meters above the municipality of Monzoccolo and is rewarded by the mysterious stone men that were created as landmarks or by shepherds to pass the time. The stone carvings and Prehistoric tools that were found at the Stoanernen Mandlen prove that this passage has been used for thousands of years.

4: SUNRISE TOUR TO THE CIR PEAK

Get up early for this one, because it’s going to be worth it. The are situated between the Alta Badia and Val Gardena valleys. Start the hike at the parking lot of the Gardena Pass at a height of 2121 meter. Walk up the mountain through the dark and be rewarded by the most stunning view over the Dolomites as the first sunrays enter the valley. Guaranteed breath taker!

5: AN EVENING TOUR AT HIRZELSTEIG UNTER ROSENGARTEN

The is a leisurely and gorgeous route. You can start your way at the Paolina Hut to make your way into the landscape. The Rosengarten Peaks will surround you while you spend 3 to 5 hours on the route, depending on your level of fitness.

6: BOLZANO TERRACES

The amazing capital city of South Tyrol is . The city is located amidst of the dramatic Dolomite mountains and characteristic vineyards. In the city there are also many sights to be found, including a cathedral, the famous ötzi Museum, local fruit markets and green spaces along the river.

Especially in Spring when the flowers are blooming, the path is extremely rewarding. It runs along the village of Lana and leads you across fruit farms, vinyards and dense forest. But the highlights of the trail are 3 kilometers from the starting point; the Brandis castle and an awesome waterfall.

8: THE GOMPM ALM IN THE PASSEIER VALLEY

The Alm offers quality cuisine at 1800 meters high in the mountains. During summer it can be quite the party up here, as there are beer and food festivals being organized. There are also lots of activities to do in the area, using the Gompm Alm as a starting point. From hiking to horse riding to cycling, anything is possible in the Passeier Valley.

9: THE BEST KEISERSCHMARREN IN THE GOSTNER SCHWAIGE

No matter if you ski, snowboard, hike or ride here; you have to try the amazing Keiserschmarren in the Gostner Schwaige on the Alpe di Siusi. Keiserschmarren is a local Austrian dish that’s very popular among the locals. It’s a caramelized pancake with plum jam on the side. It’s the perfect energy booster to make your way down again from the altitude of 1930 meters.
