A Quinta da Auga
Santiago de Compostela, Spain
Nestled on the outskirts of the bustling Santiago de Compostela, the A Quinta da Auga is the ideal spa hotel for stressed out locals and indulgent out of towners. Above all else, guests come to revel in hydrothermal treatments, bathe in aromatherapy showers, and achieve zen-like relaxation in the sensory deprivation flotarium. All this in an elegant Spanish manor encircled by lush forested hills.

A Quinta da Auga is a luxury hotel located in the Santiago de Compostela, Galicia. Formerly a paper mill, the establishment is surrounded with wide grounds strewn with ancient canals by the countryside. World-famous spots are nearby including the Camini de Santiago, also known as the Way of St. James; this popular pilgrimage route is a network of routes followed by patrons worldwide.

Air conditioning provides comfort for all seasons, and you will surely be pampered by the oak flooring, marble bathrooms, and Egyptian cotton covers. The spa circuit specializes in hydrothermal treatment, containing swimming pools and a hydrothermal pool as well as several aromatherapy showers. There is also a sauna steam bath, hot tubs, and an ice fountain surrounding the entire circuit. Panoramic windows allow you to take in the marvelous view of the outdoors. All bookings are eligible for an access pass to the spa circuit for 90 minutes per person.

A unique spa attraction is the flotarium, which utilizes saltwater to mirror the invigorating properties of the Dead Sea. You can immerse yourself in the water and experience floating in apparent zero gravity.

The spa offers several massage and therapy options inspired by a combination of modern technique and Chinese medicine. All spa treatments last for 90 minutes each. If you wish for more privacy, there is also a private luxury spa containing a sauna, a Turkish hammam, and a heated pool.
