The HIF Swiss International Boarding School and Sports Academy was founded in 1793 by world-renowned Swiss educationalists. Its 225-year history is rich in good values shared by its founders and is known to have the highest standards of teaching and individual achievement in a school community based on kindness and understanding.
Here at HIF, educators help students discover their skills and talents, harness their potential, and equip them with the right mindset to pursue their dreams. As a result, all HIF graduates immerse themselves to the community as a local, a national and a global citizen, carrying a strong sense of responsibility, and devoting themselves to lifelong learning.
Sports is an integral element in the education of all HIF students. The educators recognize how sports shape an individual and promote health and well-being, as well as resilience, self-discipline and team spirit - all vital qualities for future leaders.
Students can choose to combine competitive or leisure sports with all academic programmes. They are guided by a competent team of teachers, coaches, and carers, who assist in the individual training sessions, competition schedules, and study plans.
